I lost my job yesterday. I guess you can't rock things any more than that! It was not unexpected - I could see this coming since late last year. But it was the uncertainty of things that has been so frustrating for so many months. Now it's happend and at the moment, I feel exhilirated. I plan to redouble my efforts to clear things up here in Georgia and move back to live in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area with my family as soon as I can. There is much to be done before that can happen. I have a large job ahead of me and I hope that I can keep blogging as much as I would like to during this transitional phase of my life. Hope you will all understand and stick with me until I have gotten myself established in the rest of my life.
Blessings to your "new chapter" in your life book...will hate to see ya move from the south, but I know how living closer to family is so important...I wish my parents lived a little closer at times! Let me know if you need anything...just a car ride away from AL to GA.

Ah hun I saw the opening part of your post with an OMG thought in my head - not quite the Rocking I was thinking, as I started to read your post I felt the same and then I saw that you see this is a brand new opportunity and you made me smile! The list may be small, it may be unexpected but the fact you've turned it around and are moving forward made me smile! Of course we'll be with you along the way - can't wait to see the new chapter of your life start to unfold!

Well done for looking on the positive side of losing your job. My philosophy in life is 'one door opens as another closes' and it sounds like you too have embraced this principle.
ReplyDeleteAs they say, this is the first day of the rest of your life. How exciting.

Stay positive and most of all keep a sense of humor. It will get you through the worst of times!

Oh, Jeannie, I'm sorry about this but it seems as though you're working with it rather than letting it get to you. I wish you great success with your plans and will stick with you. It certainly will be understandable that you may not blog as often given what you are going through.
