First, I made this blue pendant. I started out with a wonderful new pattern I purchased from La Bella Joya called "Persian Rug." The pattern is meant to make a bracelet which includes 3 motifs. I created one motif for my pendant and embellished it a bit further than the original design. Bead weaving is my beading passion and blue is my favorite color; so I wanted to make a blue pendant as my first creation.
At the same time, I wanted to do a sort of freeform journal. Now, I don't know if this makes any sense to anyone but me. But that's OK. I enjoyed putting it together. I lost my job this week and was putting everything I was feeling into this collage.
Your beading's really clever. I admire those who can do this. Love your art journal too. Sorry to hear your sad news, but yep today is the first day. Hope bigger and better things are round the corner for you. Ever thought about selling your beading? xx
ReplyDeleteLove the beaded pendant! :) And journaling doesn't have to make sense to anyone but you. But I do get what you're feeling since I was in the same position a month ago. Take care! :)
