Portrait of Emilie Floge (1902)
I really love this dress! Blue is my favorite color; and I have always loved this type of sleeve. The dress looks to me to be very sheer and although the skirt looks rather straight, I imagine that it billowed around when she twirled. Here is my dress:
Perfeito!!!
ReplyDeleteParabéns querida.

Lovely dress. I was inspired by the same painting :)
ReplyDeleteJeannie, I think your inspiration really translated into your dress - it is so lovely! I agree, I think that while it seems a straight dress, the type of fabric suggests it would float and your dress captures that!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous!
Lovely light feel to your creation.. you can just see the summer breeze flowing through...

You got the blue! I can totally feel/see the twirl and billow flouncing at the bottom of your dress too. It's just beautiful. And the gold twist on that hanger is just the perfect companion.
