The Cranky Queen is having a giveaway!

Tiff, the fabulous Cranky Queen, is having a giveaway!  You can check it out here:

To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment - and tell her a chicken story.  I had a fantastic chicken story, as I had a chicken on the top of my wedding cake!  Check out the comments on her blog for all of the details.  But I did say I had the picture to prove it, and here it is:

Actually, this photo was taken on our first anniversary, when we thawed out the top of our wedding cake and had a little party with our friends.

Tiff and I are partners in Tee's Whimsy Pocket swap.  I CAN'T WAIT to show you the Whimsy Pocket I made for her!

  1. I am not going to share my chicken story it's horrid. But I must say I love listening to the little bell on your blog and adore your kitties. Fanny is a real beauty. I had a cat like Tooky and Grady.

  4. Love your blog/web site; and was taken with the cat-face idea. My chicken story: We used to have chickens in our garden, growing up in Zimbabwe. My father used to do this trick with chickens: He would draw a circle around the chicken (I think this was for effect as we would watch him , mesmerized); and then he would gently tuck the chicken's head under it's wing, and he would slowly let go of the chicken who by now was fast asleep...and it wouldn't move till he woke it up, the chicken was none the wiser!

  5. My chicken story. At my husbands bachelor party, his friends gave him a live chicken from Chinatown, as a joke. He felt so bad about it that he brought it to a farm on his way home! thanks for visiting today.take care , gerri
