Dapper Dave

I plan to make a series of trading cards based on my family history.

Dapper Dave is my paternal grandfather, David Davis. The photo on this card is circa 1900. This photo was found only recently, and we were all amazed by the horn he is holding in the photo. We had no idea that he had ever played a musical instrument. He was a printer all of his life.

My brother, Billy, was an accomplished trumpet player; so now we know that musical talent runs in our family.
